Only Watch is the most anticipated charity event on the Swiss Watch Industry's calendar.
Held every two years, the auction brings together some of the biggest names in the world of watchmaking.
All proceeds from the auction will finance research, organize scientific roundtables and fund International Collaborative Effort (ICE), an International program that brings together 15 leading teams worldwide who work on therapeutic strategies on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, in particular exon skipping, gene and cell therapies.
The 2011 auction comprised of 40 lots and brought in 4.5 million euros. The stand out watch that year was a Patek Phillipe stainless steel minute repeater wristwatch with tourbillon escapement, black enamel dial with a stainless steel prong buckle and reached 1.4 million euros on the day.
This year sees the presence of 33 major players and each day will see a different watch featured on Blogger and our Facebook and Twitter profiles.
